An exciting visit where, after historical Introduction, we draw or even have a design work’s in historical cities, factories or stores and then discuss our experience in a critical way around the table about shapes, building technics, functions, and concept of the place. At the end, we will have an interesting book of sketches and ideas.
Materials Workshop is a short course that introduces you to a world of materials, finishes and the use of them. Organized by the Florence Architecture and Design School Lab, the workshop is guided by professional figures who work in the field of Architecture and Interior Design.
Light design workshop
Credits will be awarded to those students who successfully complete the courses and who obtain passes in all the intermediate and final exams in Master Design Interior Florence
History and drawing workshop
Duration of the workshop is from one to four days, for a half-day or an all-day session time, depending on your choice. The Drawing Workshop has been curated as a short course that introduces you to a unique field experience: drawing the most beautiful Italian architectural works, breathing the essence of the Tuscan Middle Ages and Renaissance.

This course wants to connect Florence and Cinema in a every sense: watching how it was represented by great artist and then filming Florence ourselves.
Florence is famous worldwide for its beauty. In 2016, Oscar winner Ron Howard filmed here his “Inferno” with Tom Hanks. It was just the last time Florence was a main Character in a film. Before, other great directors such as the italians Rossellini, Fellini, Argento, Monicelli, Tornatore used the city as a location. Then, we musnt forget the other Oscar’ winner James Ivory with his “A room with a view”.
Fine arts school offers custom drawing and painting courses, all year round with durations starting from one week to three or eight months. Students will be able to work both in the studio and outdoors.The courses provide groups of max 4/5 people per class.For the drawing class, the base material is provided by the School for the long course.
