Master In Interior Design Florence
I have been living in Italy for about three years and I decided to enroll in a Master of Interior Design Florence course to improve my skills.
After studying fine arts in Urbino, I enrolled in my master in Interior Design Florence course. Florence is full of museums of the Renaissance. It is famous for art of the Italian masters. In fact you find Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Donatello everywhere. While the social life at the bar, to drink a glass of wine, and to taste traditional local foods, make living here beautiful. And more, I adore the architecture of Brunelleschi and Leon Battista Alberti too who grace the city.
My experience at Institute star- Florence design School.
I took the Master of Interior & Furniture Design course at Florence Design School. While here we learn new approaches to interior design. And study through composition, form, and color. Lectures teach the high end designers and architects. While in the studio we focus on hand drawing. It helps to practice shade and perspective with simple skills.
The Interior design Course gives the chance to experience work in a real Interior Design firm.
I learned how to make a correct plan, elevation and sections. Further, as an international Furniture design School I met students from all over the world too. A great chance to exchange ideas and culture.
Cities that I’ve visited during my study abroad program in Florence
The strong friendships at Florence Design School will stay forever. Thanks to the position of Florence, we could visit new cities together. And these trips were an unforgettable experience. We visited Pisa, Siena, Verona, Milan, Bologna and Venice. Each with its own beauty to love. Especially Venice. At the carnival the city transforms with a magical atmosphere. There is beautiful architecture, piazzas and romantic canals.

At Florence Design School, the drawing trips let us travel and sketch. And more, of important Italian architecture. These exercises improve observation skills and learn proportion. Indeed the field trips really make the experience beautiful.
The visit to Milan for the famous international design exhibition “Salone del Mobile” was a once in a life time experience.
This exhibit is the most famous event for furniture design. It welcomes thousands of people from all over the world each year. Thanks to the Florence Design School I visited the fair with a critical eye. Additionally we saw some of the most important brands. While analyzing the design and marketing of them together. And so, I could deepen my skills in interior design, about furniture and function.
Finally I would like to mention the great professors. They are very capable, professional and helpful. With their guidance, I have improved my skills and ideas of interior design. To conclude the experience at Studium Architecturae – Florence design School was unforgettable.
